Clayhaus is a small business that features a curated collection of handmade ceramics. It originated with the idea to creating timeless home pieces that can be passed down through genrations. We reflect a commitment to craftsmanships and believe that it is more than just a functional object. Rather, our pottery holds meaning with a story to tell.
CAREFULLY CRAFTED
Our products are crafted with meticulous precision and a respect for materials and process. It all begins with the careful selection of high quality clay that is essential step that influences the products strength, appearance, and longevity. From there, we then shape clay using traditional techniques such as wheel throwing, slip casting, and hand building.
This stage requires patience and control, as this marks the beginning of transformation. The piece then undergoes a series of stages: Drying, bisque firing, glazing, and final glaze firing that brings it to life. It is then carefully inspected to ensure the highest quality before it is ready for you.
